Deborah Roberti designs beading patterns. Her website offers some free and some bead patterns available for purchase. I highly recommend her bead patterns, not only are they extremely affordable and easy to follow, but they are very versatile as well. This category highlights some of the possible variations of her Butterfly Lace Bracelet pattern. This pattern are available for $4.00 on the www.aroundthebeadingtable.comwebsite - click herefor the earrings pattern.
Materials Approx 4 yards of Bead Thread of Choice Approx 380 size 11/0 Seed Beads Approx 32 4mm Round Beads Approx 28 Light Colored 4mm Bicone Crystals Clasp of Choice NOTE: This pattern calls for two colors of 4mm Bicone Crystals - this version substitutes 4mm Round beads for one of the crystals. Due to the round shape of the beads, they do not sit the same way next to each other as bicone crystals do. So there is a little thread exposed at each of the round beads - to accommodate round shape of the beads, I added an extra seed bead between each of the round beads.
Round Bead Modification(instead of dark colored crystals)
Step 1 - .....string a round bead, a seed bead and a round bead.....
Step 3 - .....string a round bead and a seed bead, then go back through.....
Step 9 - .....string a round bead, a seed bead and a round bead.....
Step 11 - .....string a round bead and a seed bead, then go back through.....
Below are the components used in this design example. If you would like to make this version yourself, you will need to calculate the quantities of each item to purchase, depending on the length of bracelet you wish to make, etc.
