This series is a representation of beaded versions of the Spring 2016 fashion colors. Each addition highlights one of the 2016 Spring colors. Each of the entries will vary in style and composition.
Note: Artistic license was used to create these entries in the Spring 2016 Fashion Series, so the hue or tone may not exactly match each of the colors.
This entry highlights the 2016 Spring color Serenity
Approx 2 Yards of Bead Thread of Choice About 28 Size 11/0 Seed Beads Approx 2 size 6mm 2-Hole Cabochons Approx 6 size 4mm Semi-Precious Round Beads Approx 12 size 4mm Fire-Polished Beads Approx 8 size 4mm Bicone Crystals Two Small (2-4mm) Jump Rings A Pair of Earring Findings
Design Note: I've added Bead Caps to the 4mm Beads in the bracelets in this design, Deb's original Stackers pattern does not call for adding bead caps. The Betsy's Cupola Earrings Pattern calls for a 12mm Beadstud. For the continuity of the colorway, I chose to substitute the 6mm 2-Hole Cabochons. To adjust for the smaller bead, you have to add an extra seed bead above each Cabochon and below each Cabochon. See the illustration below.
Below are the components used in this design example. If you would like to make this version yourself, you will need to calculate the quantities of each item to purchase, depending on the length of bracelet you wish to make, if you want matching earrings, etc.
